About Robert Guida
Robert Guida began his career in the real estate field in 1987, working as a co-op student while enrolled as an undergraduate at Merrimack College. After securing his Bachelor’s Degree in Finance in 1989, Robert received his J.D. degree from Massachusetts School of Law in 1994. He was admitted to the Massachusetts Bar in June 1994 and the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts in January 1996.
Robert’s involvement in the real estate field goes deep. Prior to becoming an attorney, Robert owned a real estate title examination company and was a real estate title examiner for over 10 years.
For more than two decades, Robert has served as a founder, partner and principal in several area law firms in the area focused on real estate law, focusing his practice areas in conveyancing, bank closings, buyer and seller representations, condo conversions and landlord/tenant law.
His name, Guida, means “to guide” in Italian and was the inspiration for his tagline, “Guiding you home.”
Guida Law Associates, PC was founded in 2010 in Wakefield, MA. While the process of purchasing or selling a property is known to be one of life’s most significant events, Robert helps buyers and sellers to achieve a successful closing while minimizing stress and drama. From first time buyers to veteran home owners, sellers to investors and landlords, Guida Law’s deep experience and extensive network offer informed guidance, focused attention to detail and referrals to the top real estate agents, mortgage originators and other related professionals.
Supporting the Realtor Community
Capitalizing on his strong relationships with key colleagues in related industries, Robert Guida founded the Greenwood Real Estate School, to provide the realtor community with relevant instruction from a seasoned practitioner’s perspective. The school helps real estate broker/owners to not only attract and support new agents with licensing requirements, but also to retain current agents with a convenient and agreeable way to complete required annual continuing education hours.
Utilizing an engaging, interactive approach, certified instructors bringing the state-required material to life, offering real-life experiences and demonstrating the practical application of the subject matter. Since its inception in 2014, more than 500 students have attended classes through the Greenwood Real Estate School.
Robert’s community involvement extends beyond the real estate industry as well, offering his expertise as a volunteer advisor to the Wakefield Parking Garage Initiative Committee. The father of four athletically-inclined sons, Robert coaches youth hockey and lacrosse and has served as a Board member of both Wakefield’s Youth Lacrosse Program since 2009 and Wakefield Youth Skating Association since 2016. He also volunteers as Director of Wakefield’s youth intramural lacrosse program.
